Sommerhotellet is a small, family-run hotel with just 12 rooms, and every room is an important part of our operation. The following booking terms apply to reservations made directly through our website. Different terms may apply to bookings made through third-party providers.
Changes and Cancellations
Sommerhotellet is a small, family-run hotel with only 12 rooms. Late cancellations are often difficult to fill, particularly during the summer season. We therefore ask for your understanding of the following terms:
- Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
- If cancelled less than 7 days before arrival, the full cost of the stay will be charged.
- Changes or cancellations can be made via the link in your booking confirmation or by contacting us by email.
We recommend that all guests have travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: From 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. If you expect to arrive earlier, please get in touch – we may be able to find a solution.
Check-out: By 11.00 am on the day of departure. If you're heading out for a hike, we're happy to look after your luggage for the rest of the day.
Payment
The full balance of your stay, including any additional purchases, is payable at check-out unless otherwise agreed. We accept the most common debit and credit cards. Invoices are available by prior arrangement for companies and larger groups.
Liability for Damage
Should any damage occur to the property or its furnishings as a result of negligent or improper use, the guest may be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement. Of course, we understand that the occasional accident happens.
Groups
Separate terms apply to group bookings and exclusive hire of the hotel. Please contact us at post@sommerhotellet.no, and we will be happy to prepare a tailored offer for your stay.
