Our kitchen is led by Head Chef Pierre Nard, who has previously worked at restaurants including Rodeo, Madonna, The Golden Chimp and Sommerro.

Throughout the summer we serve a seasonal menu inspired by the ingredients around us – from the mountains, the lake, local farms and nearby gardens. The menu evolves throughout the season, following what is fresh, in season and simply worth eating right now.

Like many small restaurants, we work with a focused menu that develops over the course of the summer. If you are staying with us for several nights, the main course will usually vary, while the starter and dessert may remain on the menu for a few days at a time.

Our dining room overlooks Vangsmjøsa and the surrounding mountains through large panoramic windows. Here we serve breakfast and dinner every day for our hotel guests.

As we are a small, family-run hotel, dinner must be reserved at least two days before arrival. This allows us to plan our purchasing and prepare the kitchen in the best possible way. Please also let us know about any allergies when making your reservation.

8-10 am
Mountain breakfast

Every morning, we serve the hotel's mountain breakfast, with freshly baked bread, fresh jam, egg, local cheese and meat. 

2-5 pm
After hike

On certain days we offer a special menu of small dishes when you return from your mountain hike. 

7 pm
Dinner

In the evening we serve a 3 course set dinner based on the best local ingredients of the day. Please, remember to book a table the day before, at the latest. 

Would you like to visit us just for dinner?

Throughout the summer, we occasionally welcome guests who are not staying at the hotel for dinner. Available dates are announced on our Instagram and Facebook pages

Dinner is served at 7 pm each evening.
